I shared with many of you at conferences about www.arbookfind.com. It is a great website to check out to see if your books at home or library books are a "good fit" for your child. Please remember that books your child is reading at home should be at their "good fit" level. They all have their AR range written down in their book boxes in the classroom. You are welcome to go peek at anytime.

Parents,
I just wanted to say a quick temporary good-bye. I'll be back on January 3rd and will see your kiddos on January 4th. I will be checking my email while I'm away if you'd like to get in touch. Student blogger is going to be put on hold, but Tyler wrote a really good blog for this week about Mr. Tutt. Mr. Tutt's email is [email protected]. I'll keep you posted on the birth! My husband & I can't wait to meet our little lady. :) Susan Today we made our islands and boy did we get creative. Students made bridges, volcanoes, rives, lakes and mountain ranges. I will get some pictures posted soon.
Thanks again to the parents who made this activity possible. The students had a great time! I have officially made my last day Friday, Sept. 24th. My due date is the 30th and after many words of advice from my mom friends they all said to try and rest and relax before the craze beginnings.
Mr. Tutt will be in my room & around Bethke the couple days prior to my last day. We will work together to help make a smooth transition for the students. This week I added "Student Blogger" as a classroom job. Joshua did a great job writing about the Smart Board. In the beginning I will probably tell the kids what I would like them to write about to help guide the process but once they get the hang of it I see them just going with it.
If any students want to write something at home to post on our blog I will gladly accept guest bloggers. The Wellness Day Schedule:
