I won't be sending home a newsletter this week, but here are some important pieces of information I wanted you to have.
*Report Cards will be going home today. Please look for them in your child's Friday Folder. *If you are interested in signing up for an April 16th Conference, please email me. *I will not be sending home book fair orders in March or April. Instead I ask that you stop by our spring book fair from April 5-9. The book fair in the fall earned our library $4300. Thank you for your support!!! *PTO Social will be held on Friday, April 9th. 2nd Grade will have a China booth. We will be doing an Ancient Greece project that will require students to bring in a TP roll. If you can start collecting them at home to bring in that would be great. I'm not sure of the exact date we will need them by, but I'd like to have them early next week.
A flyer was put in my box about program that is offered over spring break by the humane society. Students would have an opportunity to work with animals, participate in arts and crafts and experience informative lessons. It is open to 8-12 year olds. Keep these dates in mind for next week:
Thursday 03/11 - Jersey Day Thursday 03/11 - Visit from the FC Fire Department - We will get to see their trucks and they will be eating lunch with us! Friday 03/12 - No School - Start of spring break All the students did EXCELLENT on their math test yesterday. Everyone either got 100% or missed one question. I will be sending home the tests today so parents can see them.
